Leave it for the Pooch - Thirteen year-old Jayson Kimberly founded Leave it for the Pooch to end the plague of homeless pets through education, activism projects, connecting donors with animals in need, networking with shelters/rescues to help facilitate in finding fosters and adopters, transporting animals, and assisting however possible. While doing this, the organization continues coming up with new and creative plans to bring this issue into the public eye and to show how anyone with compassion for animals, and the motivation to end their suffering, can make a difference!
Toys For Cops - Toys For Cops is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2011 by Lone Star Leadership Academy Alumni Council member Wilson Clark of Midland, Texas. Its mission is to provide new toys to children in crisis situations throughout the year using Law Enforcement, Crisis Intervention and Child Protective Services.
We Care Act - We Care Act is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2008 by Lone Star Leadership Academy Alumni Council members Grace, Sharon, and Eric Li of Pearland, Texas. Its mission is to aid in disaster relief and engage youth around the world to help others in need. We Care Act has raised over $240,000 in funds and in-kind donations and has helped more than 40,000 people in need.
