Science Investigations (6th Grade)
11:00am-12:00pm Mondays (4 min; 8 max) $225 fall session/$250 spring session
Hands-on investigations in the field and the lab are the focus of these lessons, as students experiment with force and motion, properties of rocks and minerals, and the advantages and disadvantages of alternative energy resources. Students discover the different layers of the Earth and discuss how geological events have shaped our planet. Students explore how cells are the composition of organisms, as well as the biotic and abiotic factors in an ecosystem.
