In-Person Support for Public School Remote/Online Learning
With plans for public schools to offer families a remote/online learning option, NTEC is offering In-Person Support for Public School Remote/Online Learning for Kindergarten-8th grade students at NTEC located at 10200 Alta Vista Road in Keller.
NTEC Facilitators oversee daily learning, provide support for virtual instruction and lessons provided by the public school, and communicate daily progress with parents. (The students' schedule will follow that provided by the school, reflecting a regular school day as much as possible.)
Students have the opportunity to socialize with other students in a small-group setting with a maximum of 10 students and one instructor in each group in addition to enjoying recess and fine arts instruction.
Parents that choose the remote learning option and may have other responsibilities to handle simultaneously will receive support they need.
Parents drop-off their Kindergarten–8th grade students at NTEC for half-days or full-days, one to five days per week (8am-12pm, 12:30pm-4:30pm, or 8am-4:30pm).
Parents may sign-up for one or more half or full days, a month at a time. A 5% discount applies when a commitment is made for the semester. (Students must attend the same day/s and time/s once registered.)
Registration for each month closes the last Friday of the month prior at noon. (Exception: August registration deadline is August 14, 2020 @ 12:00pm.)
