The Lone Star Leadership Academy is a dynamic leadership development program that empowers students to discover their strengths, recognize their potential, and grow into confident, capable leaders. Through meaningful, hands-on experiences, students develop essential leadership skills, including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, independence, and confidence as they navigate new challenges and experiences.

Students learn that leadership is more than a title. It is the ability to make responsible decisions, work effectively with others, overcome challenges, and positively influence those around them. As they explore important Texas sites and engage with new people and ideas, students gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their communities, and the role they can play as future leaders.

Through the Academy, students explore college and career opportunities, strengthen their sense of independence and purpose, and build a foundation for leadership in their schools, communities, and future careers. Along the way, they gain meaningful experiences and accomplishments they can highlight on future college, scholarship, and job applications.
