Mackenzie Chaney

Mackenzie just completed 7th grade at Hunt Middle School in Frisco ISD.

I want to be a Youth Facilitator because I have always naturally taken on a leadership and care giving role, often being “the mom” of my group. I am responsible, organized, and have experience leading multiple organizations, which has helped me develop strong leadership and communication skills. Having a brother with special needs has also shaped me into someone who takes pride in supporting and caring for others, especially younger generations.

I believe this opportunity will help me continue to grow as a leader while making a positive impact on others. I also admire the youth facilitators and leaders I met when I attended camp, and they inspired me to want to give back in the same way. I am excited about the chance to help others, learn from this experience, and be a positive role model.
