Mackenzie just completed 8th grade at Lone Oak Middle School in Lone Oak ISD and is a 1st year Alumni Council member.

I want to be a Youth Facilitator because the camps taught me a lot about being a leader, so this is a wonderful way to use that knowledge. I learned more about being a leader through leading my service project, and returning to the camps as a youth facilitator will help me learn even more. I also really enjoyed the camps the first time I took part in them, and I am excited to experience them from a different perspective. When I took part in the camps I enjoyed having the Youth Facilitators around, as they were always kind, friendly, and encouraging, and I would love to be that person for someone else.
