Lauren just completed 8th grade at School for the Highly Gifted in Grand Prairie ISD.

I want to be a Youth Facilitator because I want to give back to a program that has given so much to me. Every time I attended the Lone Star Leadership Academy, I learned valuable lessons and had memorable experiences. I would love for the campers in my group to feel the same excitement and inspiration that I felt. The Youth Facilitators I had during my camps made a big impact on me. They were supportive, encouraging, and clearly enjoyed helping others. Their leadership inspired me, and now I want to help create that same experience for future campers.
