Pre/Post-Field Trip Curriculum

Texas State Symbols

Students will need to know the state symbols for one of the bus activities.

Battles of the Texas Revolution

During the bus ride, students will participate in an activity about the battles of the Texas Revolution. It is important that the students become familiar with the names of each battle and the order in which they occurred. The link above is a great resource to use.

The Alamo Digital Battlefield: Then and Now

These digital battlefield visualizations show the Alamo Battlefield as it appeared in 1836, juxtaposed with how the same space appears today. These visualizations can be viewed on your smart phone, tablet or computer.
