Viraj just completed 8th grade at Lanier Middle School in Houston ISD and is a first-year Alumni Council member.

I want to help others succeed and see Education in Action as a great way to grow my leadership, teamwork, and character. I aim to build team spirit, advocate for my peers, and improve my school community. Leadership helps me connect with others, especially in a world where face-to-face interaction is decreasing. Camps like this create a space where introverts feel supported and extroverts like me can help bring everyone together. I believe leadership helps young people gain the perspective, confidence, and skills they’ll need in school, college, and beyond.
