Get Started!

1. Request a Nomination

Submit a Request a Nomination form to receive an email with a ready to send message you can forward to your child’s educator requesting a recommendation.

2. Educator Submits Nomination

A teacher, counselor, or administrator completes a brief form recommending your child for the Lone Star Leader Award based on demonstrated academic and leadership ability.

What Happens Next?

  1. Your child is recognized as a Lone Star Leader Award recipient
  2. They receive a certificate honoring their demonstrated leadership and strong academic record

  3. They become eligible to participate in:

    Lone Star Leadership Academy summer camp in Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin/San Antonio, or Houston/Galveston. You receive a nomination packet with program details and next steps

    Leaders in Action - monthly, live, online lessons to build leadership skills and positive character traits of effective leaders
