Kudos to Pavithra Gopalakrishnan for winning the 2018 Texas State Historical Association's Junior Historians "Lone Star Leader in Texas History" essay contest! Her entry, "The Life and Leadership of Samuel Houston", earned her a full scholarship to attend a 2018 Lone Star Leadership Academy camp.
