COVID-19 Refund Policy

At this time, we are moving forward with plans to hold 2020 Lone Star Leadership Academy camps as scheduled and applications are still being accepted. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will post an update if our summer schedule changes. The safety and well-being of our student participants and staff is, and always will be, our top priority.

If camps are cancelled by Education in Action due to COVID-19, we will make every attempt to move students to later camp weeks this summer.

If a student cannot attend a later program, or if ALL summer 2020 programs are cancelled, we will offer families two options:

Option 1:

100% of tuition rolls to a 2021 camp at 2020 pricing*

As a thank you to families selecting this option and supporting Education in Action in this way, these students will also receive a highly coveted camp mascot souvenir plushy.

Option 2:

Refund of tuition paid minus $300 deposit* (processed 8/31)

  • $300 deposit rolls to a 2021 camp OR
  • $300 deposit refunded* after January 15, 2021 if requested via online COVID-19 Refund Request form by January 15, 2021 deadline.

*Donated funds are not eligible for refund and may only be transferred to 2021.

All credits expire after summer 2021 and may not be used for subsequent summers.
