$30 per student for in-person classrooms outside the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and homeschool families*

Once payment and t-shirt order are received, boxes will be delivered or shipped within 2-3 weeks. Payments must be made by check or credit card; purchase orders are not accepted.

I am a remote learner teacher. How do I get the boxes to my students?

Remote learner teachers will receive an email with a link to provide to parents. Parents will click on the link and order their student's box directly through Education in Action's website. Remote box orders will be mailed directly to each student's home and include an additional shipping fee. A notification will be emailed to the teacher as students send in their orders.

Teachers also have the option to include the remote learner boxes in the school order and ask the remote families to pick up the box at the school. This will save the additional shipping fee to have the remote learner boxes shipped directly to remote learners' homes.

Do teachers pay?

No. One teacher box per class is included at no additional charge.

Does our administrator receive a teacher box?

One administrator box with a program mascot plushy, t-shirt, and an educator gift will be delivered/mailed to each participating school.

How do you pay for the program?

In-person classroom orders will be invoiced (teacher may include remote learners boxes with order and have parents pick up remote learner boxes at the school); payment must by provided in one check from the school. Remote, Homeschool, Individual boxes that need to be shipped to individual's homes must be ordered and paid for online using the appropriate order form.

How much time does it take to complete an "In a Box" program?

Each program is designed to take place during a school day; like a true field trip. Teachers may, however, decide to use the material over several class periods. A Teacher Manual is included with each program and gives the approximate amount of time needed for each activity.
