Experience the excitement of Texas history and live performance on this fun, hands-on field trip! Spotlights and Spurs begins at the Casa Mañana Theatre, a professional performing arts venue, for a live children's theatre show that brings storytelling, music, and culture to life. Teachers should request showtimes when selecting this program to ensure the best experience for their group.

Next, students visit the Fort Worth Stockyards, where students explore the legacy of Texas ranching, learn about cattle drives, and step into the world of cowboys, vaqueros, and frontier life.
