Matthew is an 11th grader in Northwest ISD. Matthew returns as a Youth Facilitator each year because he enjoys going to Houston/Galveston to teach middle school students leadership. Even though he has been to these places for numerous times already, he keeps coming back because of the students. Their youthful nature, optimism, and young hearts inspire him to have better character and be a better leader. Matthew just completed his 3rd year on the Lone Star Leadership Academy Alumni Council. 2018-2019 Alumni Council Service Project: English and Chinese Books for Elementary School Students in China
