Lone Star Leadership Academy - Dallas/Fort Worth
The Dallas/Fort Worth camp is for our youngest, 4th-6th grade leaders! After breakfast at the camp lodge, Lone Star Leaders kick-off each day with a new leadership skill in morning leadership groups. Then it's off on the charter bus to experience exciting and fun Texas sites all over Dallas/Fort Worth! Many of the sites tie-in with the leadership skill of the day. And, lunches and dinners are at restaurants, which the Leaders love!
Dallas/Fort Worth camp highlights include touring one of only two facilities where U.S. paper currency is printed at the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, watching genuine Texas cowhands drive the Fort Worth Herd of Texas longhorns through the Fort Worth Stockyards, learning about the life and legacy of John F. Kennedy at the Sixth Floor Museum, holding military artifacts from the Civil War at the Texas Civil War Museum, and touring AT&T Stadium – Home of the Dallas Cowboys, and Globe Life Field – Home of the Texas Rangers!
