4th, 5th, 6th & 7th Grade Social Studies and Science

Take your students to central Texas with “Arlie the Armadillo” to bring social studies and science to life! Start your day with your choice of the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin or the Witte Museum in San Antonio for a journey through Texas history, the Texas Revolution, and the people who helped shape our state OR the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment in San Marcos for a deep dive into Texas ecosystems, conservation, and water science—making it a full day of science learning!

Then, head underground to explore Earth's layers at Inner Space Cavern in Georgetown or Natural Bridge Caverns in San Antonio. Students will investigate physical properties of Earth’s crust—like rocks, minerals, and soils—and participate in a hands-on mineral dig. At Natural Bridge Caverns, they’ll also tackle a maze adventure for added fun!

Sit back and relax - we’ve got the details covered. Charter bus? Check. Reservations? Check. Fun, meaningful, TEKS-based curriculum for the entire day? Check. Join us for “Texas Rocks!”—a field trip your students won’t soon forget!
